Operating principle

 MBL coal-burning hot air furnace consists of MBL coal burner, hot gas purifying chamber, and air mixing chamber. Coal burner supplies the primary heat. Raw (soft) coal is fed into the coal hopper through the coal feeder. The coal at a certain height is delivered by chain grate into the burning chamber of coal burner. With the help of combustion fan, hot semi-coal gas produced by burning coal erupts from fire outlet of coal burner and enters in hot gas purifying chamber. The chamber is built of fire resistant materials; hot semi-coal gas begins secondary combustion in purifying chamber. The dusts impact, aggregate and drop in the purifying chamber. Clean hot air from purifying chamber at about 1000℃ then mixes into a certain amount of cool air, the mixture at about 250~300℃ flows into cyclone, comes out hot clean air to centrifugal or pressure spray tower for drying. Temperature of hot air can be adjustable according to the demand. When hot air is supplied continuously, its temperature fluctuates between ±5℃. Cinder is discharged from the other side of coal burner by tapping machine.

Advantages of MBL coal-burning hot air furnace

Hot air is very clean, dust content is between 25 to 50 mg/Nm3 ,which meet the demand of technique of drying water purifying agent.

Temperature of hot air can be easily adjustable between 300 to 1000℃. When hot air is supplied continuously, its temperature fluctuates between ±5℃. 

 High security, there is no danger of explosion.

Cost of heat supply is low, which is one fifth of that by burning diesel fuel, per ton of water purifying agent consumes 220~250kg of coal. Comparing with burning coal-water slurry and coal gas, energy is cut down by 30~40%.

Ash is removed once every 2～3 months.

Equipment is durable, low cost of operation, easy maintenance.

Tail gas meets the demand of environmental protection. No secondary pollution.
